Skylark: About

ABOUT SKYLARK

Skylark is a 2009 Amel 54. French yacht builder Amel is known for producing some of the finest and safest yachts in its class. She is a 54ft center cockpit, ketch-rigged sailboat capable of cruising the world in comfort and style.   All primary sail controls can be made from the cockpit, not only adding to safety, but also making her very easy to sail short handed. The Amel 54 is an ideal cruising yacht for a couple.

In 2009, Skylark's previous/original owner sailed her from France to Malaysia, where she berthed until we bought her in October 2019.  She was beautifully maintained and it was love at first sight.  In January 2020, we sailed Skylark to Thailand, where she we cruised on the Andaman coast of Thailand. We sailed her across the Indian and Atlantic Oceans stopping in more than 11 countries and sailing more than 10,000NM.  She is incredible.

Skylark is very capable of of being off the grid for months at a time with her numerous blue water features.  Check out the speficications below to learn more.
